What To Expect The Glaze Prescriptive Manicure is the most considered appointment in the studio. It begins with a proper nail health assessment. Grace will look at the condition of your nail plate, your growth patterns, your lifestyle, and your aesthetic preferences before recommending a single product. From there, you're prescribed your treatment: the right base gel for your nails, the right shape for your hands, and, if you'd like, the right nail art tier for your life. This isn't a one-size approach. It's a prescription. You'll leave with nails that make sense for you and a clear understanding of how to care for them until your next appointment. What's included - Full Nail Health Consultation - Removal of Foreign Product if needed - E-file Russian Manicure prep - Prescribed Base Gel Treatment - Optional Nail Art - Hand Cleanse & Hot Towel Treatment - Personalised take home aftercare brief - Take-home nail care kit (new clients) A Note On This Service The Prescriptive Manicure is priced as a premium service because it is one. A consultation without a treatment isn't how Glaze works, what you receive here is both the expert diagnosis and the expert execution, in one appointment. New clients are encouraged to book this as their first appointment. Existing clients use it as a reset whenever their nail health needs reassessing.
Cancellation Policy
General Appointment Policies All appointments must be booked online via the appropriate booking link. Advanced bookings are recommended to secure your preferred time. A 50% booking fee is required to secure your appointment. Infills on work completed by other nail technicians are not offered. Any existing product from another salon must be fully removed prior to your service. To maintain a calm, luxe experience, no additional guests are permitted at appointments unless discussed and approved beforehand. Exceptions apply for support workers, assistance animals, and accessibility needs. ​ Lateness, Cancellations & Rescheduling Please arrive on time to ensure your full service can be delivered. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or rescheduling, with the full service fee still applicable. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment if rebooked within 14 days. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in your deposit being forfeited. No-shows will forfeit their deposit and will be charged the remaining balance of the booked service. Clients who fail to attend their appointment without any notice may be restricted from future bookings and may be charged 100% of the service fee. ​ Payments, Refunds & Service Guarantee Cash and card payments are accepted. Refunds are not offered. If you experience any issues with your service, please let me know as soon as possible so I can arrange a repair or removal where appropriate. Once you leave Glaze Nail Studio, your service is considered complete. A 5-day service guarantee is provided, covering normal wear and durability of the service. This guarantee does not apply to issues caused by improper aftercare, accidental damage, or factors outside of my control.
